Why We Exist
A Documentation Challenge With Real Human Consequences
Between my wife and I, we brought decades of professional experience into Northpath. My wife spent years as a Senior Regional Director in retail healthcare, responsible for multi-location operations, regulatory compliance, and client experience at scale. I built a career in account onboarding and client relationship management, guiding people through complex administrative processes.
We understood what it meant to build systems that worked reliably. What we kept encountering outside of work was a federal process that required exactly those skills to navigate well, but that most people were attempting entirely alone.
Family members. Coworkers. People who had contributed to Social Security throughout their careers, who faced disabling health conditions, and who found themselves inside an evaluation and reconsideration process they were not prepared to navigate without guidance. We watched people spend years in procedural review on applications that may have lacked sufficient supporting documentation during initial evaluation. We watched people miss reconsideration timelines they were not aware existed. And we watched people delay difficult personal decisions because the documentation requirements felt impossible to meet independently.

Structured, Evidence-Based Documentation Preparation
Northpath prepares SSDI and SSI documentation packages using a structured intake and review process designed around SSA evidentiary requirements. The goal is a complete, well-organized submission that accurately reflects the applicant's medical record and functional status.
A Residual Functional Capacity assessment is among the most clinically significant documents in the SSA evaluation process, as it addresses functional limitations relative to work capacity. Where clinically appropriate and supported by examination findings, an RFC completed by a licensed physician can be a meaningful component of an applicant's documentation. Every Northpath package includes the coordination of an independent physician evaluation for this purpose, though the scope and findings of that evaluation are determined entirely by the examining physician based on their clinical judgment.
Our preparation process is objective and transparent. Contracted physicians conduct independent clinical evaluations. Northpath provides pre-populated reference packets drawn from the applicant's existing records as an organizational tool. Physicians review, modify, or decline any pre-populated entry based solely on their examination findings. Their assessments are their own professional opinions, not directed or influenced by Northpath.

Jose leads business development, provider network growth, attorney relationships, and strategic partnerships for Northpath. His background in account onboarding and client relationship management helps shape how Northpath builds trusted relationships with both clients and professional partners throughout the documentation preparation process.
Eva brings extensive healthcare operations leadership experience to Northpath, including multi-location operational oversight, workflow management, regulatory compliance, and client experience leadership within healthcare environments. Her operational background directly influences the structure behind Northpath’s intake workflows, quality review processes, coordinator standards, and client communication systems.
Together, Jose and Eva built Northpath around a shared belief that applicants navigating the SSA process deserve a more organized, professional, and evidence based documentation preparation experience.
